Briefly summarize the book

The book is about two twins named Alex and Conner, Alex was the smartest and the best of the class and is interested in books and stories, and Conner is the troublemaker. Their father died when they were 11 years old, due to an accident, and nowadays they live with their mother.

In the day of their 12th birthday, their grandma gave them her book, The Land of Stories, and Alex could not sleep due to the brightness of the book. Later Alex and Conner entered the book and are trapped in the Land of Stories.

They found a journal of how to get out and they started searching for the objects in the different lands, to get the Wishing Spell to return to their home, The Corner Kingdom The Kingdom of Red Riding Hood, The Charming Kingdom, The Fairy Kingdom, The Northern Kingdom, The Elf Empire, The Dwarf Forests, Mermaid Bay and The Troll and Gobling Territory.

Meanwhile, the Evil Queen escaped from prison and also wishes the Wishing Spell, for her own benefit.

Describe the character/person who changed the most from the beginning of the book to the end of the book. Explain the change and what caused it.

Conner, before he was a trouble maker and didn't have faith in himself but at the end of the book he has proven to be a ver alturistic person and loved to be in the Land Stories like her twin sister Alex.

Describe a minor character/person in the book o had major importance. Explain

The Grandma, because she was the author of the Land of stories and she is the Fairy Godmother.

Describe one major external conflict and one major internal conflict found in this book.

One mayor external conflict is the Evil Queen trying to have the Wishing Spell so the twins couldn't return to their home and one mayor internal conflict was Conner questioning himself as to why he was committing many mistakes and how it affected his self-esteem.

Above you rated this book. Explain in detail why you gave this book that score.

I rated the book a 8/10 I really liked that the author has been inspired by the stories and decided to create a world of his one but I wished it was more original.

Evaluate the end of the book. Considering how the book unfolded, is it an effective ending? Why? Why not?

It was an effective ending because the twins got to return to their homes and can return to the Land of Stories whenever they want.

If this book had gone one more chapter, what would have happened? Explain

If the book had gone one more chapter. We would see if Conner improved as a student after returning to the human world.

nce starters and write a brief reflection for each.

 1. The death of  Alex and Conner s' dad made me sad

2. I learned that  we should read more fairytales to kids.

3. The Land of Stories reminds me of the Lunar Chronicles.

4.I wonder how the mother is doing meanwhile their children were in  the Land of Stories.

5. I noticed that Alex and Conner were half fairy.
