Joe Howard,is a veteran who fought during the Second World War and he was coming to his home to see his father, in train, but since he was black, don't allow him to sit where the white people sat. One day, he desapeared and nobody had seen trace of him.
Regina Mary Robichard, a young afroamerican who works for a law firm, called her to solve the case of Joe Howard and she goes to Revere to solve it.
Interrogating many people, she solved the case , result that Joe Howarde was killed by a white, who is the son of Jackson Blogett, Wayne Blogett and cause of the thriumph he had, the muderer of Joe Howard kill a old lady named Peach, who had the sueter full of blood of Joe Howard, and Then, the father of Joe Howard (Willie Willie) killed Wayne Blogett, fruit of his reverge of the death of his son and his friend and escape to the forest Finally, Regina return to Nueva York and offered her a job to be member of a law firm : Rasperry y Robichard and the writer of the book of her childhood, (Mary Pickett, wrote the Secret of Magic, gives her the continuation of her book and returns home.
I liked the plot so much, is very interesting because as I am very obsessed to inform about the Second World War , (after seeing a documentary a long time ago), no for the bad thigs because I know that the wars are bad, but for the allies, the leaders, the events, and people ,That it was not fair to see them die only for being of a religion, their race, their customs, of being from another country I'm too late to read it, no because it was boring, but because I wanted to read it in a moment that I reflect on equality and that was it taught me, no matter who race, religion, country, culture, if you are man or woman, the things don't have limits, you can be anything you want to be, who makes you happy, There are good people and bad people , but they don't have nothing related race or to be from another country, is the attitude that has the person. I liked so much because is a book which I feel indentified , and became one of my favorites, My favorite character is Regina, because, she is very secure of what she do, she is wise, and I knew the fight that she had to take in that time, that the women were considered suboridinate and the afroamericans had to go to public schools and discriminate them, consider them subordinate , That I understand it, sometimes, as humans, we don't understand that a race isn't superior or inferior, but this is the bad story of the USA.
I recomend it, it's good no because the books is a bestseller, but because is a example to foment the values of equality, a book that makes you think about the inequallity that we live in this world.
